After all the waiting, M. Night Shyamalan’s next project, the highly anticipated Wayward Pines is finally here! It hit screens last night, and after a clever and direct approach from the marketing team, the team here at The TV Ninja was shaking with excitement. Thankfully, we weren’t disappointed.
There’s a lot of people online comparing this show to Twin Peaks, and it’s not surprising. Any show that drops a detective in an unknown town shrouded in mystery is going to draw those comparisons, but tonally, it’s totally different. Let’s not label it and give it a chance to just be Wayward Pines, guys!
This was more like the hound of boredom! What happened here? Everything had been flowing so nicely and then boom, you drop an episode about medical patents. Agh.
Someone had built a breathaliser that can detect cancer. That someone is now dead, so as usual, questioning began. Holmes and Watson spoke to the owner of the company, a man who was close to divorcing his wife, but had a girlfriend on the side. Oh, Leslie. Everyone’s favourite nutcase is really going mental in Galentine’s Day. She’s missing Anne Perkins and wants to audition every female she knows for a role as her best friend.

Big Bang Theory made history yesterday in being the first show to get renewed for three season in one go. Usually, they would get renewed in two season blocks, but I guess it goes to prove how popular the show is right now.

Holmes is always happy to solve a mystery. When the mystery involves a box with two human, bloody ears, he’s front row.
At last! When we thought Katherine was never ever going to leave, her end finally came and it wasn’t pretty.
Nadia was bitten by Tyler, which means that she’s dying. For once, we got to see Katherine in the mother role, looking after her little girl. These scenes were combined with flashbacks of when Nadia was searching for her mother, and all she had to go through to finally find her. Continue reading

Turns out, the rich and powerful are very paranoid people. After a homemade bomb goes off at a high class restaurant, the team rushes to find out what caused it and mainly who. The restaurant used to be frequented by rich bankers and bank vice presidents and CEO’s. The table where the bomb went off was indeed filled with these marvelous creatures, so it wasn’t hard to find a starting point for the case to unravel. Continue reading
All hail Pawnee the land of hilarious puns and laughs! Anniversaries was a really funny episode with a bit of everything and everyone. It was good to see more of Ron and even Larry got a bit more screen time than usual.
It’s Leslie and Ben’s first wedding anniversary, but this year they agree on a ‘no presents’ policy. Unfortunately, Ben knows that Leslie ALWAYS gets him an incredible present, so this time he’s taking the bull by the horns.
